Bas van Elst

Bas van Elst has had an extensive career in finance and accounting spanning several companies. Bas started their career in 2003 at Shell Italia SpA, where they held various roles including Retail Finance Manager and MED Cluster Performance Manager. In 2012, they moved to Barilla Group, where they served as the EU FS&IA Director and later as the Finance Director for the Region Western Europe. In 2020, Bas joined ENGIE Italia as the Head of Finance and Reporting. Bas is currently also a member of the Committee for Planning and Control at ANDAF - Associazione Nazionale Direttori Amministrativi e Finanziari. Throughout their career, Bas has demonstrated strong financial planning and reporting skills, as well as expertise in managing finance functions and ensuring compliance with financial and tax reporting. Bas has also been involved in implementing process improvements and system transformations.

Bas van Elst obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2003.
