Christian Morris

Christian Morris has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Christian currently works at ENGIE Latinoamérica as the ICS Manager for South America. Prior to this, they held various roles at ENGIE Perú, including CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) for Peru and LATAM, Coordinator of Information Security, and Coordinator of IT Infrastructure. Morris also worked at GITCO Corporation as the Chief Information Officer and IT Operations Manager. Christian started their career at Edelnor, where they served as the Head of Loss Control Management. Overall, Morris has expertise in cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure management, and loss control in the energy industry.

Christian Morris has a diverse education history. In 1991, they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de San Martín de Porres. Following this, from 1993 to 1996, they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from IST CIBERTEC. In 1998, they attended the Universidad de Lima for project development in the field of economy. In 2002, Christian obtained a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) degree from Microsoft. In 2020, they completed a Diploma in Cybersecurity from CEUPE - Centro Europeo de Postgrado y Empresa and a Postgrad Diploma in Cibersecurity from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Christian also holds additional certifications, including an Auditor Interno ISO27001 from TÜV NORD GROUP and The Zero-Carbon Transition Strategy from ENGIE, both in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
