Hanne de Loof

Hanne De Loof is a seasoned finance and strategy professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Finance & Strategy Manager at ENGIE since April 2011, focusing on financial steering to support a 10 GW ambition by 2030. Previous roles at ENGIE include Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President for Transformation & Geographies, where coordination and decision-making support were paramount, and Financial Advisor, responsible for M&A and project finance in renewables. Hanne also held positions in risk management, trading analysis, and strategic analysis for Eastern Europe. Prior to ENGIE, Hanne worked as an Energy Consultant and Project Engineer at Altran. Education includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy from KU Leuven and a Master's in Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
