Josh Zier

Josh Zier serves as the Lead Technical Expert for Upstream & Special Projects and Head of Certifications at Project Canary since October 2020, overseeing the development and execution of TrustWell Certification and Midstream Certification programs. Prior to this role, Josh worked as the Lead Project Engineer at International Environmental Standards PBC from April 2017 to August 2020, leading engineering projects and client interactions. Josh's earlier experience includes positions at Hess Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from Field Drilling Engineer in the Gulf of Mexico to Drilling Engineer and Supervisor in the Bakken field, focusing on operational planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Josh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Technological University, obtained in 2009.
