Katy-Lynne Kay

Katy-Lynne Kay is an experienced legal professional specializing in ethics and corporate governance within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Chief Legal and Ethics Officer for ENGIE since March 2025, Katy-Lynne previously held the position of General Counsel and Ethics Officer at ENGIE Africa from February 2024 to March 2025. Prior to that, Katy-Lynne served as General Counsel at BioTherm Energy from August 2020 to February 2024, and held various roles at Fasken, including Partner and Senior Associate from February 2018 to August 2020, and Associate from February 2013 to August 2020. Katy-Lynne began legal practice as an Associate and Candidate Attorney at Bell Dewar from January 2010 to January 2013. Katy-Lynne holds a BA LLB degree in Media and Law from the University of Cape Town and completed A Levels at Peterhouse Girls School.
