Philippe Brezellec

Philippe Brezellec serves as the Group Deputy Chief Security and Business Intelligence Officer at ENGIE since July 2018, following a notable career in various strategic roles within the French government. Prior experience includes serving as Colonel and Head of the Strategy and Partnerships Office in the French Ministry for Armed Forces from 2016 to 2018, and multiple diplomatic positions at the French Embassies in China and South Africa, along with a senior expert role in security and international relations from 1992 to 2007. Philippe Brezellec holds an array of prestigious educational qualifications, including auditor status at the French Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence and a graduate degree from the Naval Center for Advanced Studies, with a notable distinction as the top of the class at École Navale. Additional expertise in public finances is being pursued through ongoing management training at the Ministry of Defence.
