Patrick Duan

Patrick Duan is a dedicated professional with a strong background in history and teaching. Currently serving as a Volunteer English Teacher at ENGin since April 2021, Patrick has also gained research experience as a Research Associate at Duke University from May to September 2023. As Editor-in-Chief at Historia Nova: The Duke Historical Review from August 2020 to June 2023, Patrick showcased editorial leadership while simultaneously holding marketing and publicity responsibilities with 'Speak of the Devil' A Cappella. Additional experience includes a Congressional Internship with the U.S. House of Representatives, research roles at Project Vox and Duke University School of Law, and various internships in the legal field and political campaigns. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in English and Russian from Duke University and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Philosophy in History at the University of Cambridge.
