Alex Roussos

Alex Roussos has a strong background in software engineering and management. Alex started their career in 2006 as a Participant/Researcher at the National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates, where they developed a Java-based GUI for a location-aware robotic vehicle.

In 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at Powerwave Technologies until 2010, developing web-based apps for internal usage.

From 2010 to 2011, they were a Software Developer at Bridgewater Associates, where they contributed features to reusable libraries and designed APIs for other technology departments.

At Barnes & Noble, they worked as a Software Engineer from 2011 to 2013, handling the re-design and expansion of the e-commerce website. Alex then became a Senior Software Engineer, architecting a solution to handle Borders traffic.

From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Knewton as a Senior Software Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager. Alex designed new web services and led a team responsible for Knewton's consumer-facing product, implementing a leaner and more iterative process.

Currently, Alex is working at Even Financial as a Senior Software Engineer and has held roles such as Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.

Alex Roussos obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Dartmouth College between 2002 and 2006. Alex further pursued their education at Dartmouth College, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from 2006 to 2007.
