Jenette Ashtekar

Jenette Ashtekar is a seasoned professional in soil science and product management, currently serving as a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur in Residence at Engine Ventures since August 2023. Previously, Jenette held multiple key positions at CIBO, including Senior Vice President of Product Management and Vice President of Sustainability and Regeneration, from May 2017 to June 2023. As a co-founder of AgSoil Analytics, Jenette played a pivotal role in advancing Functional Soil Mapping technology from February 2015 to March 2017. Jenette's early career included significant contributions at Purdue University, focusing on digital soil mapping and agricultural research, as well as extensive experience at the Ohio Department of Taxation managing a property tax program. Educationally, Jenette earned a Ph.D. in Soil Science from Purdue University, alongside master's and bachelor's degrees in Soil Sciences and Environmental Science from The Ohio State University.
