Kavitha Kamal

Kavitha Kamal has an extensive work experience in software development and technology roles. Kavitha is currently a Senior Software Engineer at The Engineered Innovation Group since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Glew as a Senior Software Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Kavitha also held positions at Southern New Hampshire University, where they served as the Director Of Technology from 2022 to 2022, and as a Software Engineering Manager from 2021 to 2022 on the Kenzie Academy project. Kavitha started their career at Kenzie Academy in 2018, initially serving as a Facilitator for the Software Engineering Program, then transitioning to roles such as Associate Instructor/Software Developer, Software Engineering Manager, and Student Coach. Before that, Kavitha worked as a Volunteer Software Developer at iN Education, Inc from 2016 to 2018 and as a Freelance Software Developer from 2007 to 2009. Their early career experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Honeywell from 2003 to 2007, where they acted as a Module Lead and mentored junior developers. Kavitha Kamal completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Auxilium College (Autonomous)Gandhi Nagar,Katpadi-632 006 from 1999 to 2001. Kavitha then pursued their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004. In 2018, they enrolled in Kenzie Academy and obtained a Software Engineer degree. Additionally, Kavitha has obtained several certifications, including Full Stack Web Developer and Front End Web Developer from Kenzie Academy in 2019 and 2018 respectively. Kavitha has also acquired the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
