Siya Sehgal

Siya Sehgal is an undergraduate student at Penn State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, with a Minor in Information Science and Technology, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a mentor at the Penn State Undergraduate Speaking Center, Siya assists students with Communication Arts and Sciences coursework. As Community Service Chair for the Penn State Club Tennis, Siya coordinates regular community service initiatives. In addition, Siya holds the position of Engineering Ambassador with the Engineering Ambassadors Network, focusing on STEM outreach. Previous experience includes two engineering co-op rotations at Alaska Airlines, contributing to projects aimed at fleet sustainability and aircraft interior improvements. Additional roles include serving as a teaching assistant in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences, an engineering camp counselor, and participation in a high school practicum at Exelon.
