Al Desmarais

Al Desmarais has a strong work history with extensive experience in various positions. Al started their career as M2 Division Officer at USS MISSISSIPPI (CGN-40) in 1989 and then served as Main Propulsion Assistant at USS Abraham Lincoln from 1996 to 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as N432 - Carl Vinson Maintenance Manager at COMNAVAIRFOR. In 2002, they joined CONSTELLATION STRIKE GROUP (CCDG 1) and USS Constellation (CV-64) as N4 Material and CCDG-1 Staff, respectively. Al then served as Business Office Department Head at Southwest RMC from 2003 to 2007. During the same period, they also worked as Commander in the US Navy. Al then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Associate from 2008 to 2012. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President for Corporate Growth and Compliance at Engineering Services Network - ESN, where they previously worked as Director of Business Development from 2012 to 2022.

Al Desmarais has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy. Al attended the academy from 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University, which they completed from 1998 to 2000.
