Gerard McDonald

Gerard McDonald is the CEO at Engineers Canada | Ingénieurs Canada, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to fulfill the organization's objectives. Prior to that, Gerard served as the Registrar at PEO - Professional Engineers Ontario, overseeing licensing and regulation of engineers in Ontario. With a background in civil engineering and an MBA, Gerard has extensive experience in the transportation and engineering sectors, including roles at Transport Canada and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. Currently, Gerard also serves as a Board Member and Vice Chair at The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group.
