Project Team member at Engineers In Action

Catherine Cheng started their work experience in 2022 as a Project Team member at Engineers In Action. In this role, they were responsible for bridge designs and cultural education for intercultural collaboration. Catherine conducted research on local cultures and provided education on cultural misunderstandings.

In 2021, Catherine worked as an Analyst at the Cornell Real Estate Club.

Additionally, Catherine worked as a Research Student at Tel Aviv University in 2022. In this role, they focused on multi-phase flow of medium in porous media in Professor Avinoam Rabinovich's lab. Catherine conducted research on fluid dynamics and used SGeMS and CMG for analysis.

Catherine Cheng's education history begins in 2017 when they attended Shanghai United International School, where they completed the International Baccalaureate diploma program and obtained their High School Diploma in 2021.

In 2019, Catherine Cheng participated in a summer program at Cornell University, focusing on Debate and rhetorics. Then, in 2020, they attended the Yale Young Global Scholars program with a field of study in Solving Global Challenges.

Starting in 2021, Catherine enrolled at Cornell University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2025.

In terms of certifications, Catherine obtained an IB certificate from the International Baccalaureate institution in May 2021. Additionally, they completed a course called "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" offered by Google in January 2023.
