Mohammad Hadi Zulfiqar

Mohammad Hadi Zulfiqar is a Technology Deployment Specialist at KAUST since January 2021 and cofounder of Startuptivity Pty Ltd, actively supporting tech startups since January 2018. Hadi has a long-standing commitment to Engineers Without Borders Australia, volunteering since July 2008 on projects like providing clean water in Bali. Previously, Hadi served as a Business Development Manager at UNSW and Newcastle Innovation, focusing on transforming knowledge into valuable products and managing technology transfer in engineering and energy research. Experience includes roles as Innovation Manager at Infratech Industries, Business Development Manager (ASEAN) at TUNRA Bulk Solids, Process Engineer at Worley Parsons and Hunter Water Australia, and a Research Student in coal power generation at the University of Newcastle. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle.
