Dennis Norman

Dennis Norman has over 25 years of experience in the R&D industry in early phase drug discovery. Dennis began their career as a PhD student at the MRC Lipoprotein Group in 1995. In 1999, they took a post-doc position at St Bartholomew's Hospital investigating the role of POMC peptides in the regulation of leptin production in adipose, and taught B. Med. From 2001 to 2015, they worked at Argenta Discovery (now Charles River Laboratories) as a Principal Scientist and Team Leader, gaining extensive laboratory-based experience in molecular biology and cellular assay development, as well as significant project management experience. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Kymab Ltd as a Project Leader in Immuno-Oncology, leading a team providing cell lines for immunisation and assay, recombinant protein constructs and antibody engineering across their immuno-oncology programs. Dennis is currently employed at Engitix Therapeutics as Senior Director of Drug Development and Operations and Senior Director of Drug Discovery.

Dennis Norman received their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Kent in 1995 and their Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Imperial College London in 1998.
