Lisa Longato has worked in the field of biology since 2005. Lisa began their career as a research student at Padova Hospital, Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine in 2005. Lisa then became a research fellow (Gastroenterology) at the Liver Research Center, Brown University in 2006. From 2007 to 2013, Lisa was a PhD candidate in Pathobiology at Brown University. From 2013 to 2017, they were a research associate at University College London. Finally, Lisa has been the Director Biology and Senior Research Scientist at Engitix Therapeutics since 2017.
Lisa Longato attended Brown University from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathobiology. From 2004 to 2007, they attended Università degli Studi di Padova and earned an MSc in Medical biotechnology. Lisa also attended Università degli Studi di Padova from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a B.Sc. in Biotechnology.
