Engro started with its flagship business, Engro Fertilizers, over 50 years ago. Established in 2005, Engro Foods now has shareholding by FrieslandCampina, thus renamed FrieslandCampina Engro, and Engro Energy was launched in 2006 to address the nation’s energy crisis. In 2018, Engro Infiniti was created with a mandate to invest in digital businesses, with Engro Digital focusing on industrial internet and artificial intelligence, and Enfrashare aiming to drive the development of the country’s connectivity infrastructure. The group continues to grow by venturing into businesses with global leaders in their fields and bringing the best of the world to Pakistan.
