Sikander Hazir

Sikander Hazir is a dedicated leader and internal partner at Engro Holdings, serving as Chief of Staff to the Chairman and Head of Talent and Culture. With 16 years of hands-on experience in human resources and organizational transformation, his focus is on building the foundational strength necessary for the enterprise's long-term success. In his capacity as Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Sikander supports the Chairman's Office by facilitating strategic and long-term interventions across the Group. His work centers on ensuring portfolio consistency, fostering a character-driven culture anchored in Engro's values, and harmonizing organizational design across a diversified portfolio.

As Head of Talent and Culture, he is focused on enabling the success of Engro's people. He manages critical systems such as leadership development, succession planning, and organizational design, offering counsel on CEO selection and compensation to ensure leadership is capable and aligned with the Group's vision. Throughout his career, including tenures at Engro Corporation and Frontier Works Organization, Sikander has consistently worked to enhance workforce productivity and operational efficiency through people-focused strategies.

Sikander's perspective is enriched by advanced learning, including an intensive program on Strategy, Leadership & Negotiations at Harvard University in Boston. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. Away from the office, he is an avid golfer and finds insight in reading autobiographies.
