Giacomo Gorni

Giacomo Gorni is an experienced professional specializing in renewable energy technologies, currently serving as the Renewable Technologies Business Interface for R&D activities and R&D Business Partner at Eni since March 2018. In this capacity, Giacomo manages technology application projects related to solar energy, wind energy, and energy storage while also leading the department for innovative technologies in energy solutions. Prior experience includes roles as R&D Manager for the Solar Energy Department at Eni Donegani Research Center, R&D Manager at Tozzi Green S.P.A., and Project Leader at Pirelli, alongside various positions at MIT and Pirelli Cables. Giacomo holds dual Engineer’s Degrees in Laser and Optical Engineering from Università di Pavia and Collegio Ghislieri - Fondazione Ghislieri. Additionally, Giacomo is a Programme Committee Member for the OMC Med Energy Conference and has served as a Mentor Board Member for the Emilia Romagna Start-Up Network.
