Shelby Humphreys

Shelby Humphreys is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in health information management and clinical documentation improvement. Currently serving as a Sr. CDI Consultant at Enjoin since June 2022, Shelby has previously held the role of Sr. Program Manager in Health Information Management at Amazon. Prior experience includes over nine years at Vidant Health, where Shelby held multiple leadership positions including Director of Coding and CDI, Interim CDI Manager, and Coding Supervisor. Additional experience includes a tenure as Coding Manager at UNC Lenoir Health Care and as Assistant Director of Compliance at Coastal Carolina Healthcare Associates, LLC. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from East Carolina University and a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
