As the Director, FP&A, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining dynamic financial models and collaborating across all business functions in support of multiple lines of business to help accelerate profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes, including expense budgets, working capital, cash flow estimates, and scenario analyses.
  • Develop rolling forecasts and variance analyses to track actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and drivers of performance discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and strategic planning initiatives, providing decision support for business initiatives and investment opportunities.
  • Develop both short-term and long-term cash flow models to assess capital requirements.
  • Serve as analytical and strategic business partner throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement financial planning processes and frameworks to support organizational growth.
  • Forecast and report revenue and other statistical/non-financial metrics.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the FP&A function, setting overall goals, priorities, and initiatives.
  • Generate regular reports and analyses, tracking key performance indicators related to revenue, new customer acquisition, expansion, churn, and contraction.
  • Partner with operational teams to analyze and control costs across all areas of the business, identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue enhancement.
  • Develop expert-level variance analysis reports.
  • Support M&S activities by providing financial insights, analysis and guidance throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Prepare quarterly Board of Directors presentations, financial analysis, provide operational analytics, and ensure cohesive deck and messaging provided to Board members.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in an FP&A role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience conducting M&A due diligence and related financial analysis.
  • Expert proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Familiarity with planning/budgeting software solutions (ie. Anaplan, Adaptive); NetSuite is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SaaS and subscription-based business models or usage-based models.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Skilled in dashboarding, report design, and report generation.
  • Strong preference to be in Atlanta, GA and willing to work in-office on a hybrid schedule (3+ days/week).

Success Measures: 

  • In 3 months: 
    • Become familiar with internal finance and accounting processes/tools.
    • Prepare first financial deck for Board of Directors meeting.
    • Begin diving into existing financial models, forecasts, and P&L.
  • In 6 months:
    • Develop short- and long-term cash flow models.
    • Partner with CFO to develop forecasting and budgeting models.
  • In 12 months:
    • Ownership over all financial models, including development, updating, and maintenance.
    • Collaborate closely with department leads to determine annual budget needs.
