Michael Avidan

Michael Avidan serves as the President and VP of North America at Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd since August 2020, where leadership roles encompass corporate development and principal investments. Notable achievements include successfully leading the North America market entry through the acquisition and merger with Clenera LLC, significantly increasing the project pipeline, and co-leading the NASDAQ IPO. Prior experience includes key positions at Recurrent Energy, where strategic origination and negotiation of power purchase agreements were central responsibilities, as well as leading initiatives at SunPower Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company focused on renewable energy integration and partnerships. Avidan's early career featured roles in legal consulting, user experience in defense systems, and military leadership as a Captain in the Israeli Air Force.
