Ayaz Sheikh

Ayaz Sheikh is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across various biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as a QA Operation Consultant at Enliven Therapeutics since December 2023, Ayaz previously held the position of Associate Director, GMP QA at Foghorn Therapeutics, Inc., where responsibilities included oversight of GMP quality for clinical development programs and external manufacturing activities. Previous roles encompassed Senior Manager and Manager positions in GMP QA at Agios Pharmaceuticals, as well as leadership in quality operations at Blueprint Medicines and ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, where Ayaz managed cross-functional collaborations and ensured compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Early career experience includes quality assurance roles at Johnson Matthey Pharma Services and Genzyme, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
