Jeffrey Lobosky

Board Member at Enloe Medical Center

Jeffrey Lobosky, M.D., is a board certified neurosurgeon who has been in private practice in Chico and a member of the Enloe medical staff since 1984.

He has directed the Northern California “Think First” trauma prevention program since 1988. His many leadership roles include American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) representative to the Committee on Trauma for the American College of Surgeons from 2006 to 2009 and member of the AANS/ CNS (Congress of Neurological Surgeons) Joint Task Force on Regionalization of Neurosurgical Emergency Care since 2008.

Dr. Lobosky is the author of the book “It's Enough to Make You Sick: The Failure of American Health Care and A Prescription for the Cure” and numerous medical publications.

He is associate clinical professor for the Department of Neurological Surgery at University of California, San Francisco. He is board certified in neurological surgery, received his undergraduate degree in pre-professional studies from the University of Notre Dame, his medical degree from University of California, Irvine, and completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Dr. Lobosky’s service on Enloe’s Board of Trustees began on Jan. 1, 2014. He currently chairs the board’s quality committee.
