Julie Martin

Vice President, Ambulatory Services at Enloe Medical Center

Julie Martin’s influence and impact at Enloe Medical Center dates back four decades, when the Pleasant Valley High graduate began her health care journey as a Junior Volunteer at the hospital. She became an official Enloe employee in 2001 and has served in several different roles, including Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, Clinical Educator, Performance Improvement Coordinator, Director of Quality Management and Senior Director of Ambulatory Operations.

Julie, who received her Master of Science in Nursing, Specialty Nursing Leadership, has played an integral part of numerous major innovations at Enloe. She expanded the Command Center structure/process to support transitions, regulatory surveys, high census, and disaster response. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Julie was key in mobilizing support services like the Federal Medical Station, pre-procedural/surgical screening and community vaccinations.

Julie and her husband have four children together, as well as four grandchildren. Outside of Enloe, she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, reading, and traveling.
