Peter Magnusson

Peter Magnusson has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Peter began their career in 1988 as the owner and cardiologist at Chico Heart Medical Clinic. In 1994, they joined Enloe Medical Center, where they served as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab. Additionally, they held the position of Board of Trustees from 2001 until 2009. In 2008, Magnusson became a part of the University Advisory Board at California State University, Chico. Most recently, in 2016, they joined Enloe Cardiology Services as a Cardiologist.

Peter Magnusson completed their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1960 to 1965, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. Peter then attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine from 1966 to 1970, where they obtained a Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree with a focus on Physiology. Following this, they pursued an Internal Medicine Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center from 1970 to 1973. Finally, they completed a Cardiology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from 1973 to 1975.
