Jason Doering

Jason Doering, P.Eng has a strong work experience in the energy sector. Jason worked at ENMAX as the Vice President of Corporate Operational Services from December 2020 onwards. Before that, they held the position of Director of Engineering & Maintenance from October 2017 to December 2020, and Director of Generation Engineering from February 2017 to October 2017.

Prior to ENMAX, Jason worked at AESO where they held multiple roles. Jason was the Director of Operations Planning & Engineering from July 2014 to February 2017, Director of Transmission System Planning from July 2011 to June 2014, Director of Commercial Services from July 2008 to July 2011, and Director of Energy Strategy from January 2009 to September 2009.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked at Manitoba Hydro where they held various positions including Section Head of Thermal Resource Evaluation from August 2006 to June 2008, Export Market Analysis Engineer from November 2005 to August 2006, Resource Evaluation Engineer from May 2004 to November 2005, Reliability Centered Maintenance Engineer from May 2003 to May 2004, and Thermal Maintenance Engineer from May 1999 to May 2003.

Jason Doering, P.Eng holds a B.Sc. in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical (Aerospace) from the University of Manitoba. Jason also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution. In terms of certifications, they hold an Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Certificate from The Institute of Asset Management, along with memberships in SAE International and ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers). Jason is also a Professional Engineer certified by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
