Zac Wellmer

Zac Wellmer has a wealth of experience in the tech industry, having worked in various roles since 2014. From 2014-2015, they worked as a Tutor at MSU Math Learning Center and as a Data Science Research Assistant at BITLab. Zac also held Machine Learning Internships at issuu and Wolt in 2015 and 2016, respectively. In 2016, they worked as a Machine Learning Research Assistant at the Integrated Pattern Recognition and Biometrics Laboratory. From 2017-2020, Zac worked at Atollogy, Inc. as a Computer Vision Lead and was Co-Founder & CTO at Tupelo from 2020 onwards.

Zac Wellmer began their educational journey by attending Michigan State University from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science. Zac then went on to pursue a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Artificial Intelligence at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Wellmer is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 2021, they also attended Y Combinator. Zac has no additional certifications.
