Franziska Schmitt

Franziska Schmitt has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Student Worker at ZF Group for a short period. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Student Assistant at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of a PHD Researcher at the same university and continued until 2016. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2017 to 2017. In 2018, they briefly served as a Data Scientist at Data Science Retreat. In 2019, they joined Umlaut Company as a Test Automation & Data Science professional until 2020. Finally, they are currently a Python Developer at Enote, starting from April 2020. In 2017, Franziska took a sabbatical to pursue qualifications in Data Science and travel to South America.

Franziska Schmitt has a strong educational background in the field of biology. Franziska first attended The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biologie, allgemein from 2008 to 2011. Franziska then pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biologie, allgemein from 2011 to 2013.

Continuing their academic journey at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, Franziska Schmitt completed their highest level of education by earning a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in Neurobiologie und Verhalten from 2013 to 2016. Their research and studies focused on the field of neurobiology and behavior.

In addition to their formal education, Franziska Schmitt has also obtained various certifications. These include certifications in Cleaning Data in Python, Importing Data in Python (Part 1 and 2), Python Data Science Toolbox (part 1 and 2), and Statistics Workshop - basic concepts, descriptive methods and figures, mean comparison, analysis of dependencies, factorial methods. Franziska obtained these certifications from institutions such as DataCamp and the Graduate School of Life Sciences (University of Würzburg) in the years 2015 and 2018.
