Steven Lories has a diverse work experience in different roles and companies. Steven started their career in 2001 as a Software Development Engineer at Barconet, where they developed embedded software using C and C++. Steven then moved on to Scientific-Atlanta in 2003 as a Production Support Engineer, optimizing existing production processes and researching new ones. In 2004, they became a Project Engineer and Operations Coreteam member at Scientific-Atlanta (later acquired by Cisco), where they introduced Lean Manufacturing, resulting in a 30% decrease in overhead and operations costs. From 2006 to 2016, Steven worked at Cisco as a New Project Program Manager, leading cross-functional teams and overseeing the entire production line introduction. Their responsibilities included scope, cost, quality, and project delivery management. From 2016 to 2020, they joined Newtec as a Project Manager, handling the complete development of products and ensuring the realization of product requirements. Currently, since 2020, Steven works as a Customer Support Engineer at eNovates, providing technical support to customers and being responsible for the RMA process.

From 1996 to 2001, Steven Lories pursued a Master's Degree in Ingenieurswetenschappen specializing in Burgerlijk Ingenieur Elektrotechniek, with a focus on Telecommunicatie, at Ghent University.
