Chaojun Shi

Chaojun Shi has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and materials science. Chaojun is currently working at ENOVIX Corporation as the Director of Process Engineering, where they are responsible for overseeing process development and collaborating with external partners for technology scaling. Prior to this role, they served as a Staff Process Development Engineer at ENOVIX, where they led a critical new technology project, developed innovative coating technologies, and collaborated with external partners for technology development and production scaling. Before joining ENOVIX, Chaojun worked at Imprint Energy as a Materials Manager and Senior Battery Specialist, and at SolidEnergy Systems as a Senior Scientist. Chaojun also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, where they focused on Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors, and as an R&D Intern at Praxair, where they honed their chemical engineering skills and completed project management training. Chaojun started their career as a Research Assistant at Zhejiang University, where they worked on lab-scale experiments and mentored undergraduate students in chemical engineering design projects.

Chaojun Shi obtained a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in the years 2009 to 2013. Prior to this, Chaojun completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from Zhejiang University in the year 2008.
