Amit Shah

Amit Shah has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Amit currently holds the position of Joint Venture Accounting Team Lead - Upstream and New Energy at EnQuest, a role they began in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Joint Venture Accountant at EnQuest from October 2020 to April 2022. Before joining EnQuest, Amit served as a Finance consultant at SAMV Limited, where they held various roles including Senior Cost Engineer for EnQuest Plc, Senior Joint Venture Accountant for EnQuest Plc, and Central Area Finance Analyst for BP Plc, all based in Aberdeen. Amit also worked at Wood as a Project Accountant from October 2017 to March 2018. Amit began their career at Stacey Oil Services Limited as an Accountant from June 2008 to March 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Citi India as a Finance Analyst from January 2005 to July 2006.

Amit Shah completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai in 1999-2004. Amit then pursued their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from The ICFAI UNIVERSITY - India during 2002-2006. In 2006-2007, they obtained a Master's degree in Financial Management from Robert Gordon University. Amit Shah furthered their education by completing the Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) qualification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants during 2011-2020.
