Airee Smith

Airee Smith has a strong background in education and program management. Airee began their career in 2013 as a Science Teacher at New Orleans College Prep, where they consistently met and exceeded goals of 80% of students passing final exams with 70% or better. Airee also created a successful 12th grade Environmental Science curriculum and saw 4 points of growth on ACT Science section in 2014. In 2017, they moved on to DC Prep as a Middle School Science Teacher and provided afterschool tutoring for increased educational opportunity weekly. In 2018, they joined Techbridge Girls as a Program Manager - After School and in 2019 they were appointed as the Regional Manager at Enriched Schools. During their time as Department Chair at New Orleans College Prep, they served as a curriculum leader, assisted in the review of lesson plans, and coordinated departmental duties.

Airee Smith earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Loyola University New Orleans in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology, General from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge in 2009.
