Kelvin Thomas is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Early Childhood and Family Services at Head Start, overseeing operations since August 2019. Prior to this role, Kelvin held the position of Behavior Supports Administrator at Atlanta Public Schools from July 2017 to August 2019 and served as Assistant Principal at Jasper County Schools from June 2007 to July 2014. Kelvin's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida A&M University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Albany State University, along with degrees in Social Work from Albany State University and Valdosta State University. Additional training includes the Head Start Management Fellows Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Post Graduate Fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center.
