Sean Perry has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Help Desk at Downes Associates before transitioning to the role of IT Consultant at Beebe Medical Center. In 2007, they joined Perdue Farms Corporate Office as a Security Analyst, where they developed and maintained security policies, conducted audits, and administered anti-virus tools. From 2013 to 2018, Sean worked at the Federal Reserve System as an IT Security Analyst, responsible for security audits, risk assessments, and maintaining automated security systems. Sean then joined W. R. Berkley Corporation as an IT Security Analyst from 2018 to 2020.

In 2020, Sean worked as an Information Security Engineer at Temple Health - Temple University Health System and a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at ENSCO, Inc. In 2021, they joined OneMain Financial as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer. Currently, Sean holds the position of Senior Cyber Security Engineer at FINRA.

Sean holds a GIAC and GCIH certification, reflecting their expertise in the cybersecurity field. Sean also has an MBA degree.

Sean Perry has a strong educational background in both information assurance and cybersecurity, as well as business administration and management information systems. Sean completed their Master of Science in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from the Florida Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2014, specializing in computer and information systems security. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Wilmington University from 2010 to 2012, focusing on management information systems. Additionally, Sean completed another Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Wilmington University in 2008-2009, with a specialization in information technology.

In addition to their educational achievements, Sean Perry has also obtained several certifications in the field. Specifically, they have obtained the GCIH certification from both ANSi and the SANS Institute in February 2017. Sean also holds the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from the Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), obtained in June 2015, as well as the GSEC certification from the SANS Institute in May 2015.
