Jason Byrd

Jason Byrd has a diverse work experience. Jason started their career as a PhD Graduate Student at the University of Connecticut in 2007, where they focused on the development of novel optical quantum control experiments and computational analysis of intermolecular forces. Jason then worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Quantum Theory Project at the University of Florida from 2013 to 2016, contributing to the design of scalable linear sparse tensor operations and the development of quantum chemistry programs. Since 2016, Jason has been working as a Senior Scientist at ENSCO, Inc., where they continue to contribute their expertise in scientific research and development.

Jason Byrd earned their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Metropolitan State University of Denver from the years 2002 to 2006. Following this, they attended the University of Connecticut from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Master's degree in Atomic/Molecular Physics. Jason continued their education at the University of Connecticut until 2013, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Atomic/Molecular Physics and Quantum Chemistry.
