Staff Security Engineer at ENSCO

Mike Egnoto, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Mike is currently employed as a Staff Security Engineer at ENSCO, Inc. since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Maryland as an Assistant Clinical Professor of FIRE and Researcher START, where they were responsible for project and grant research for multi-agency governmental bodies, as well as the development and implementation of methods for securing grant funds. From December 2017 to May 2021, they served as a Clinical Informaticist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, where they championed strategic initiatives to resolve complex problems associated with blast exposure and overpressure. Their responsibilities included conducting advanced research methods and data analysis. Additionally, Mike has also held roles such as Visiting Professor at Ithaca College, Graduate Research Assistant and President of the Graduate Student Association at the University at Buffalo, and Adjunct Faculty at SUNY Fredonia. Mike also served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the University at Buffalo SUB-BOARD. Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated competencies in project management, data analysis, research data management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Mike Egnoto, PhD, completed their education chronologically as follows:

From 2003 to 2007, they attended Fordham University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.

In 2007, they pursued further education at Fordham University and obtained a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies, completing their studies in 2008.

Continuing their academic journey, from 2008 to 2014, they attended the University at Buffalo, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Communication.

Throughout their career, Mike Egnoto also obtained several additional certifications. These certifications include the following:

- In April 2021, they became CompTIA Security+ certified by CompTIA.

- In October 2017, they completed the Emergency Management Professional Development Series through FEMA.

- Also in October 2017, they acquired the Incident Command Systems ICS-100 certification, also from FEMA.

- In April 2013, they completed the Online Teaching program offered by SUNY Fredonia.

- In March 2022, Mike Egnoto became SPC Certified SAFe 5 Program Consultant through Scaled Agile, Inc.

- In June 2022, they obtained the SAFe Remote Trainer certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.

- In October 2022, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)².

- In January 2023, they attained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

- In February 2023, they became an RTE Release Train Engineer certified by Scaled Agile, Inc.

- In March 2023, they acquired the SPC Certified SAFe 6 Practice Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.

- In August 2023, they earned the Ready to Train certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.

- Also in August 2023, they became a Certified Agile HR Enabler through Just Leading Solutions (JLS) - Advanced Agility.
