Nelson T Busch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nelson T began their career as a Physics Lab Assistant and Higher Education Tutor at Northern Oklahoma College. After that, they worked as an Auxiliary Operator Intern at OMPA, where they gained experience with power generation systems. Nelson T then joined Oklahoma State University as an Electrical Data Crew Technician, installing communication systems on the campus.

Busch's next role was at National Instruments, where they worked as a Test Engineer Intern, gaining experience in LabView FPGA and project planning. Nelson T then joined Helmerich & Payne as an Electrical Engineering Technologist and SLPC Technician, where they provided technical troubleshooting and analysis for power systems.

Continuing their career, Busch worked at The Charles Machine Works, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer in the Contract Engineering Group. Here, they designed, fabricated, and tested prototype electrical and electronics systems for underground construction equipment.

After that, they joined ENSCO, Inc. as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, testing, and commissioning railroad track inspection systems.

Busch then worked at Manufacturing Techniques, Inc. (MTEQ) as an Electrical and Systems Engineer, taking part in multiple projects and applying INCOSE principles in developing electro-optic and multi-spectral sensor systems.

Currently, Busch holds the position of Sr. Principle Engineer Electronics (Systems Engineering/Electronics & Payloads) at Northrop Grumman. In this role, they work in a leadership capacity with the SEIT team, ensuring the validation and verification of aircraft system capability upgrades. Nelson T also decomposes system and sub-system requirements for sustainment IPT validation and verification.

Throughout their career, Busch has demonstrated expertise in electrical and systems engineering, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation preparation. Nelson T has also shown proficiency in project planning, leadership, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Nelson T Busch has a strong educational background in engineering and technology management. Nelson T obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Technology from Oklahoma State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they attended Northern Oklahoma College and earned an Associate's Degree of Science with a focus on Chemistry and Physics.

In 2014, Nelson pursued a Master's Degree in Engineering and Technology Management from Oklahoma State University, completing their studies in 2018. During this time, they also obtained a Graduate Certification in Engineering and Technology Management in January 2016.

In addition to their formal degrees, Nelson holds an I.E. License granted by the Oklahoma Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in March 2012.
