Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
● Support the day-to-day delivery of Billing Care Service by submitting, updating
and reconciling billing claims and errors in EMRs and proprietary billing software
● Use your analytical skills to identify billing & revenue opportunities for customers
● Liaise with the Ministry of Health to help customers answer questions and resolve billing errors
● Use your keen attention to detail to help customers complete government paperwork
accurately and on-time
● Leverage your great customer service skills to maintain positive relationships with customers
by answering questions about services and inbound inquiries through our
customer support channels
Basic Requirements:
● At least 2 years of Customer Service Experience for English Speaking
businesses/clients/customers, background in Healthcare programs/accounts is a must
● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, neutral English Accent with clear
pronunciation, great email, chat and phone etiquette
● Experience in medical billing and working within EMRs in Ontario is preferred
● Knowledge of the health system is considered an asset
● Experience with any of the following tools is also beneficial: Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, EMRs, medical billing software
● Resourceful: Able to learn independently and use new knowledge to solve problems
