Dejan Ikonov

Dejan Ikonov, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Dejan is currently working as a Human Resources Director at Ensign Services since July 2023. Prior to this role, they served as an Interim Human Resources Director from March to June 2023 at the same company. Dejan also held the position of Senior HR Business Partner from October 2021 to June 2023 and started their journey with Ensign Services as an HR Business Partner in January 2020 until October 2021.

Before joining Ensign Services, Dejan worked at Silver Bay Seafoods, LLC as a Recruiting Manager from November 2017 to October 2018. Dejan also held the position of Plant HR Manager from March to October 2017. Prior to that, they gained experience at Holland America Line as a Compensation Analyst from July 2016 to January 2017.

Dejan's early career began at NIS Gazprom Neft where they served as an HR Business Partner for the Exploration and Production Division from July 2013 to March 2016. Dejan also held the position of Senior Organization Design Specialist from September 2011 to July 2013.

Dejan Ikonov, SHRM-CP, has a diverse education history. Dejan obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Univerzitet u Novom Sadu from 2001 to 2007. In 2010 to 2011, they also pursued a Senior Scholar program in Project Management at Southwest Jiaotong University.

More recently, in 2023, Dejan earned a Certificate in Change Management from UW Professional & Continuing Education. Dejan has also obtained various certifications, including Change Management Certification from UW Professional & Continuing Education in June 2023, Leadership Coaching from the Maslow Centre for Executive Leadership in April 2022, Foundations of Coaching from the Maslow Centre for Executive Leadership in November 2021, and several certifications from LinkedIn, such as Communicating in Times of Change, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Managing Change, Mergers & Acquisitions, Organization Design, Creating a Culture of Change, and Managing Organizational Change for Managers, all obtained in November 2018. Additionally, Dejan holds the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM, obtained in December 2018.
