JOB SUMMARY
Uses computer-aided design equipment to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, site-specific drawings, hydro static drawings, client-requested route-specific exhibits, and typical construction methods. Supports lead mappers, mapping design specialists, engineers and project managers through a variety of tasks. Uses engineering information such as excel tables, etc. to add information to drawings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Works with information provided with supervisory direction
Maintains master property and easement files
Updates and maintains deliverable drawings
Creates drawing deliverables and is experienced in all areas of preliminary and construction property plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, site-specific drawings, hydro static drawings, client-requested route-specific exhibits, and typical drawings for construction methods
Responsible for utilizing company and/or client standards and meeting project/client design requirements using industry standard tools and techniques.
Consults with project managers, engineers, designers and other stakeholders as projects develop for design details and information.
Accountable for self-checking drawings to ensure acceptable levels of quality before submitting for peer review and squad checking.
Capable of performing some QA/QC – checking the work of other designers and draftsmen.
