Sylwia Brodacka

Designing the product, management at Enso

Sylwia Brodacka has been involved in various roles in the tech industry since 2013. Sylwia began their career as a Researcher at Empa in 2013, where they worked on multi scale modeling of nanomultilayered materials. In 2015, they moved to Flowbox as a Haskell developer, where they were responsible for designing and developing image processing libraries for both CPU and GPU. In 2017, they joined ENSO powered by Luna Lang, where they were responsible for business strategy, budget, contacts with investors and clients, and managed three teams of software engineers. Sylwia also took care of features quality and was a backend Haskell developer. In 2021, they joined Y Combinator as a Y Combinator S21.

Sylwia Brodacka received their Master of Science (MSc) in Materials Science from Jagiellonian University from 2005 to 2010. Sylwia then went on to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Jagiellonian University from 2010 to 2015. In 2015 and 2016, they attended AGH University of Science and Technology for Financial Mathematics - financial engineering and risk management, but did not receive a degree.
