Efthimis Kartsonakis

Efthimis Kartsonakis has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Efthimis started their career as a Research Assistant at the Transformation Services Laboratory, University of Crete, where they focused on designing and deploying service systems. Efthimis then worked as a Software Engineer at mVision Network Solutions SA, developing mobile services. At Mfuse Ltd, they served as a Client Projects Engineer, contributing to the development of a mobile sports book. Efthimis later joined Vision (In Practice Systems Ltd) as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for creating an electronic prescription and messaging system. Currently, they are working at Amido, where they have held multiple positions including Technical Consultant, Senior Consultant, Lead Consultant, and currently as a Principal Consultant. In these roles, they have gained expertise in cloud-native IAM and microservices projects, government identity projects, and implementing cloud-first solutions for clients. Their experience spans industries such as healthcare, government, hospitality, and media. Overall, Efthimis Kartsonakis has a strong technical background and a track record of delivering solutions that help clients achieve their business objectives.

Efthimis Kartsonakis has a diverse education history. In 1999-2002, they attended the 5th Lyceum of Chania, where they completed their high school education. Subsequently, from 2002 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Crete. During this time, they also engaged with the Department of Computer Science at the same university.

In 2007, Efthimis enrolled at the University of Crete again, specializing in E-Business & Distributed Systems, but the specific duration of this program is unknown. Moving forward, they are currently in the process of obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Technology Management from The Open University, starting in 2022.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Efthimis Kartsonakis has acquired various certifications. These include the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Machine Learning Specialty, AWS Security Specialty, and Solutions Architect Associate certifications. Efthimis also holds the CCSK certification from the Cloud Security Alliance, as well as the ForgeRock Certified Access Management Specialist certification. Moreover, they are a Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate and a Professional Cloud Architect certified by Google.
