Vincent Carroll

Vincent Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Vincent has recently worked as a Senior Consultant in Delivery at Amido since June 2022. Prior to that, Vincent held various roles at comparethemarket.com, including Senior Technical Programme Manager and Senior Delivery Manager, from December 2008 to November 2017.

Vincent has also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Standard Bank from August 2006 to August 2008, and as a Project/Program Manager at Cell C from August 2004 to July 2006.

Vincent briefly owned and operated their own retail business, Otherland Science Fiction, from November 2003 to July 2004.

Before that, they worked at The IQ Business Group as a Senior Consultant and Consultant Manager from July 1998 to September 2003, providing business consultancy services in the Financial Services sector.

Vincent began their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Consultant, responsible for providing audit support and Information Security services, from October 1996 to June 1998.

Vincent also spent some time at IBM as an IT Specialist in the pre-sales support division, providing technical assistance to sales teams, from January 1996 to August 1996.

Vincent Carroll's education history includes a Master's degree in Business Management (Information Systems) from the University of Southern Queensland, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Johannesburg, completing their studies from 1991 to 1995.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Vincent has obtained several certifications. These include the MSP Practitioner Certificate in Programme Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, acquired in April 2019. Vincent also holds the Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in November 2016. Furthermore, they have a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership (QCF) from the Chartered Management Institute, earned in June 2015. Vincent also has the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership, which they obtained from the Chartered Management Institute in August 2013. Additionally, they possess the Prince/2 Practitioner certification from APM Group, achieved in April 2008.

Looking ahead, Vincent is scheduled to obtain the Certified SAFe 6 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2023.
