Danny Clifford

Heading up Ensors’ tax team is Danny, a chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor.

Following exceptional performance in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’ (STEP) exams, Danny was named overall Student of the Year, having obtained the highest marks in the country for both the Trust and Estate Tax and Accounting papers and now specialises in advising trustees on the tax efficiency of their structures.

He also gained a distinction in the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK tax for International Clients in 2015 and advises clients on UK residency and domicile issues.

Danny works across all the Ensors offices ensuring his expertise is accessible for the whole client base. He has previously been a member of the Country Landowners Association (CLA) Taxation sub-committee and the East Anglian Chartered Institute of Tax committee and maintains a strong client base dealing with landed estates and farm partnerships. Danny is a member of HMRC’s Agents’ Trusts and Estates Advisory Group and is well respected locally for clear, authoritative and practical commentary on a wide range of taxation issues.

Danny has appeared on Legal Network Television and is a regular contributor of specialist articles to the media, most recently appearing as an expert commentator on both LBC radio and Share Radio.
