Dr. Vesna Skul is a founder and the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Center for Women’s Medicine, a holistic medical practice for women in Chicago.
Dr. Skul is a graduate of Mundelein College in Chicago where she received her BS in biology and chemistry in 1977. She graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago in 1981 and completed her internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in 1984. She is a board certified specialist in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Rush University. She is also fellowship trained and board certified in anti-aging and regenerative medicine and a nationally recognized expert in medical aesthetics. Her career has been devoted to caring for women in all phases of their lives.
Through her work with the leadership of the American College of Physicians, she helped shape guidelines for educational requirements of internists in women’s health through all of the nation’s medical universities. This earned her, among many other teaching awards from her alma mater Rush University and American College of Physicians, the College’s highest recognition, the Laureate Award.
Dr. Vesna speaks on a wide range of topics to professional and lay audiences around the country. Her areas of expertise within women’s health include lifestyle and preventive medicine, energy medicine, science of nutritional supplementation, autoimmune disease diagnosis and treatment, menopause management and the integration of alternative and complementary medical principles into mainstream medical practice.
