Gilles LE CHENADEC is an Associate Professor at ENSTA Bretagne since June 2010, specializing in machine learning, deep learning, underwater acoustics, information processing, and sonar systems. Gilles also serves as the head of the STIC division, focusing on training in information and communication technologies and conducting research on automatic prediction of seabed types using sonar systems. Prior to this role, Gilles was responsible for training in Systems Perception Information Decision (SPID) at ALYOTECH Technologies and completed a post-doctorate at Orange Labs. Gilles holds a Ph.D. in Signal Processing from Télécom Bretagne and has degrees in Acoustics from Université du Maine and Mathematics and Statistics from Université de Rennes I.
