Nasir Shah

Nasir Shah has a diverse and extensive work experience in risk management and actuarial consulting. Nasir is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for EU/UK and the Group Head of Insurance Risk at Enstar. Prior to this, Nasir worked as a Partner at Barnett Waddingham from 2018 to 2021, where they also held the role of Associate from 2018 to 2019. Before joining Barnett Waddingham, Nasir was the Director and co-founder of ANN Consulting Ltd, a niche consultancy involved in various projects, including model justification and independent model validation for multinational insurance companies. ANN Consulting Ltd later merged with Barnett Waddingham LLP. Earlier in their career, Nasir worked as a Manager at EY from 2011 to 2014, a Capital Actuary at Equity Red Star from 2010 to 2011, and as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte UK from 2006 to 2010.
