Jenni Raitavuo

Jenni Raitavuo has over 10 years of experience in sustainability, HSE, and environmental management. Jenni started their career at Ensto as a Sustainability Trainee, where they played a key role in developing the company's sustainability strategy and program. Jenni then progressed to the position of Quality & Environmental Specialist, where they focused on optimizing environmental management projects and processes in manufacturing. After that, they became the Health, Safety and Environment Manager at Ensto Operations, leading a global team of HSE personnel. In 2019, they were promoted to Head of Sustainability and HSE at Ensto, overseeing a 9-member sustainability steering team and serving as a vital member of the executive sustainability committee.

Outside of Ensto, Jenni Raitavuo has also held various roles in different organizations. Jenni has served as a Board Member at Skoggi Oy, an environmental services startup, where they focus on sustainability, innovation culture, climate, biodiversity, and communications. Jenni has also been a Chief Executive Officer at Confidence Capital Ltd, where they were responsible for responsible ownership, angel investing, and working with startups and real estate. Additionally, they were a Board Member at Hybe, a startup, media, and innovation culture company, where they supported international development and entrepreneurship.

Earlier in their career, Jenni Raitavuo worked at Perheyritysten liitto as an Event Coordinator and Project Manager, where they organized events and implemented concepts to support the association's strategies and sustainable business goals. Jenni also worked as a Project and Account Manager at Euro RSCG 4D, where they focused on project management, account development, and customer care.

Jenni Raitavuo has a diverse education history. Jenni completed a Corporate Responsibility Study Module at the Hanken School of Economics from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Economics in Marketing Communications from the Inholland University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing Communications from the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, both from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Jenni Raitavuo has obtained several certifications. Jenni completed the Training Program for Social Media Ambassadors at LM Someco in June 2022. In February 2021, they completed the Certified Board Member Course (HHJ-kurssi) at Tampereen kauppakamari. Jenni also holds certifications in areas such as sustainability strategies, emergency first aid, environmental safety, and occupational safety, obtained between 2015 and 2019 from various institutions.
